Day 01 - Airport - Hikkaduwa
Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport you will be greeted by the Airport Representative and Professional Chauffer of Serendiva Trails. Your chauffer will drive you to Hikkaduwa visiting the Colombo City en-route. Places to be visited in Colombo will be, Gangarama Temple, Independence Square, Old Parliament Building, Old Dutch Hospital, Temple Trees, President’s House, Galle Face Green, National Museum, BMICH, Viharamahadevi Park, Nelum Pokuna Theatre, Lotus Tower, Pettah Street Market. Then proceed to Hikkaduwa by highway. Hikkaduwa is the place for underwater delights. Site of the famed coral gardens, hire a glass-bottomed boat or goggles and flippers and explore the beauty of Hikkaduwa Coral Reef. Overnight Hikkaduwa.

Day 02 - Hikkaduwa - Balapitiya - Kosgoda - Hikkaduwa
Stay at leisure in Hikkaduwa while doing short excursions to Meetiyagoda Moonstone Mines, Turtle Hatchery at Kosgoda. It is the one of the very few hatcheries where all the five species in the country make their nests. They are the Olive Ridleys, Green Turtles, Leatherbacks, Loggerheads and Hawksbills. Then experience a River Boat Safari at Madu River with the sightseeing of 64 islands including cinnamon islands. As you sail through the rippling waters, watch out for water monitors, blue-eyed cormorants perched atop floating branches, fruit bats hanging asleep, upside down and the endearing sight of infant monkeys clinging onto fishermen as they sail across the river on narrow boats. You might even spot a few crocodiles and water snakes along your jungle cruise. The tiny rock island and temple in the middle of Madu River will be attracted. There are plenty of Seafood restaurants are on the beach to enjoy your dinner out at Hikkaduwa. Overnight Hikkaduwa.

Day 03 - Hikkaduwa - Galle - Mirissa
After breakfast leave for Mirissa visiting the Galle Dutch Fort which was built first in 1588 by the Portuguese, then extensively fortified by the Dutch during the 17th century. It’s a historical, archaeological and architectural heritage monument which has been recognized as a world heritage site. Sightseeing of different beautiful southern beaches until Mirissa, stilt fishermen activities and all that will be covered on the way. Stilt fishing is a method of fishing unique to the island. The fishermen sit on a cross bar called a “petta” tied to a vertical pole and driven in to the sand a few meters offshore. Mirissa is known to be the beach to just lay back. The beach is ideal for snorkeling, surfing & whale watching boat trips. It has developed a reputation as a party destination for the travelers. Also famous for seafood restaurants. Overnight Mirissa.

Day 04 - Mirissa
Early in the morning leave for a boat safari to see blue whales & dolphins in Mirissa as the boats are leaving by 06.30 am from the main port. Stay at leisure on the beach enjoying different water sports, activities and enjoy a seafood dinner at a restaurant nearby. Overnight Mirissa.

Day 05 - Mirissa - Yala
Leave for Yala visiting different beaches on the way. Reach Yala National Park by afternoon and enjoy the wild life by a safari jeep. Yala is famous for its elephant population, seen in small and large herds, spotted deer, Sambhur, Barking deer, Monkey, Wild Buffalo, Wild Boar, Sloth Bear and innumerable varieties of birds endemic and migratory. Peacock is the most famous of the birds at Yala. Overnight Yala.

Day 06 - Yala - Ella
After breakfast leave for Ella visiting Buduruwagala Anciant Buddhist Temple. Buduruwagala is an ancient Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka. The complex consists of seven statues and belongs to the Mahayana school of thought. The statues date back to the 10th century. The gigantic Buddha statue still bears traces of its original stuccoed robe and a long streak of orange suggests it was once brightly painted. The central of the three figures to the Buddha’s right is thought to be the Buddhist mythological figure-the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara. To the left of this white painted figure is a female figure in the thrice-bent posture, which is thought to be his consort-Tara. Visit Ravana Caves & Ravana Falls on the way. Ravana Falls is currently ranking as one of the widest falls in the country. It is a gorgeous beautiful waterfall just by the main road which can have a view from the main road. It has a natural pool near the bottom of the falls which is a place for swimming and splashing depending on the water level. Feel the beauty of the nature while doing the sightseeing in and around Ella by walking. Overnight Ella.

Day 07 - Ella
After breakfast leave for Little Adams Peak which has a fantastic view on the top. It takes about an hour to walk up to the top and the path is well laid out. The views once you are at the top are simply stunning. Visit Nine Arches Bridge and other sightseeing nearby. Stay at leisure and enjoying the dinner at a restaurant in Ella city will be memorable. Day 08 - Ella - Nuwara Eliya - Kandy
Leave for Ella Station to experience the best train journey in Sri Lanka through misty mountains and tea gardens. Our chauffer will be dropped you to the station in Ella and he will be picked you up in Nanuoya (Nuwaraeliya) once again without any delay as he gets an easy way to Nuwaraeliya. The train journey will be about 3 hours. Meet the driver at the station and leave for Kandy visiting a tea factory and tea gardens. First introduced here by the British. You will be able to see beautiful tea gardens and tea-pluckers work on the slopes wearing colorful sarees. Visit a tea factory around Ramboda will be a fantastic stop through misty mountains as you can enjoy with a cup of tea (world famous “Ceylon Tea”) and also you can buy fresh products from their outlet. If interested you can visit Shri Bhakta Hanuman temple at Ramboda which is dedicated to the God Hanuman and you can witness the 18 feet Hanuman statue. Overnight Kandy.

Day 09 - Kandy - Peradeniya - Kandy
After breakfast leave for Peradeniya to visit the Royal Botanical Garden. It’s renowned for its collection of orchids. The garden includes more than 4000 species of plants, including orhids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. Optional: Visit a Gem & Jewelery Factory, Handicrafts Factory, Handloom and Battik Factory. Visit the Temple of the Tooth which houses the Sacred Tooth of Lord Buddha. Visitors can observe poojas (offerings) the ancient traditions of drumming and sacred chanting in honor of the Tooth Relic. Witness the Cultural Dancing Show in the evening. It’s a stimulating of Sri Lankan Arts, Dance and Cultural Heritage with traditional dancer’s & drummer’s performance. Overnight Kandy.

Day 10 - Kandy - Dambulla - Sigiriya - Negombo
After breakfast proceed to Sigiriya. It is recommended to visit an Herbal Spice Garden at Matale which is on the way to Sigiriya to learn about Sri Lanka’s world renowned spices and a lot of different herbs. Visit Damulla Cave Temple. Dambulla is the largest and best preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. Its rock ceiling is one large sweep of colorful paintings which related to Lord Buddha and his life. Some of them are over 2000 years old. There are 80 documented caves in the surrounding and a total of 153 Buddha statues within the cave. Visit Sigiriya Kingdom in the afternoon. This rock fortress was built by King Kasyapa in the 5th century A.D. and was a royal citadel for more than 18 years. The Sigiriya site contains the ruins of an upper palace located on the flat top of the rock, a mid level terrace that includes the Lion Gate and the mirror wall with its frescoes, the lower palaces clings to the slopes below the rocks. The site was both a palace and a fortress. Leave for Negombo. Overnight Negombo.
