Day 01 - Airport - Negombo

Arrive at Colombo International Airport, where SERENDIVA TRAILS Representatives welcome you and transfer you to Negombo. Evening city tour in Negombo, including Visiting Old Dutch Fort, Negombo Fish Market, Old Cathedrals, Angurukaramulla Buddhist Temple, etc. And Overnight stay at a hotel in Negombo.

Day 02 - Negombo - Muthurajawela - Negombo

After breakfast, we drive you to Muthirajawela. Birdwatching, visiting fishing villages, wildlife spotting, etc. Drive back to Negombo and overnight stay at the hotel. Optional: Boat safari in the marsh or a leisure.

Day 03 - Negombo - Yapahuwa - Kalpitiya

After breakfast, we drive you to Yapahauwa. Rock fortress, Yapahuwa ancient kingdom, Cave temple, on-site museum, etc. After exploring majestic Yapahuwa, we transfer you to Kalpitiya for the overnight stay.

Day 04 -Kalpitiya

After breakfast, a city tour in Kalpitiya. Day 06 - Wilpattu (Camping)

After breakfast, the real excitement begins. Wildlife camping, safaris, photography tours, etc; you can request any of these enthralling activities for an affordable fee. Once wildlife camping and other activities conclude, we transfer you to the Wilpattu hotel for overnight stay.

Day 07 - Wilpattu - Anuradhapura

After breakfast, we take you to sacred Anuradhapura. As an option, you can book cycling in Anuradhapura, which is the best way to explore the ancient city. City tours, including visiting the eight sacred places, are choices to consider. Overnight stay at a hotel in Anuradhapura.

Day 08 - Anuradhapura - Mihintale - Jaffna

After breakfast, we drive you to Mihintale, which is a top Buddhist attraction in Anuradhapura. You can request us to visit Sinha Pokuna, Ambasthale Dagoba, Mihintale ruins, the ancient hospital, Mahinda’s Cave, museum, Elephant Pass War Memorial, Bodhi Tree, etc. Then drive to Jaffa for overnight stay.

Day 09 - Jaffna

After breakfast, we start the journey to Trinco (roughly a 5-hour drive.) Leisure in Trincomalee in the evening, and overnight stay at a hotel in Trincomalee.

Day 11 - Trincomalee

After breakfast, we start the city tour in Trinco. You can request a list of optional activities to do in fabulous Trinco. Pigeon Island boat tour, bird watching, and water sports for a small fee. Nilaveli Beach, whale watching, Fort Frederick, Koneswaram Temple, diving, Pathirakali Amman Temple, Trincomalee British War Cemetery, etc are the places to visit in Trinco.

Day 12 - Trincomalee - Polonnaruwa - Passikuda

After breakfast, we drive you to Polonnaruwa for the city tour. You can try the optional Cycling Tour in Polonnaruwa for a more authentic experience. The Royal Palace, audience hall, Sacred Quadrangle, Pabalu Vehera, Swimming Pool, etc are the places you can request and visit. We transfer you to Pasikuda for a leisure evening on the beach and overnight stay

After breakfast, we drive you to the Medirigiriya town in the Polonnaruwa district for visiting Vatadage. Then to the world-famous Minneriya National Park, where you can request Minneriya National Park safari as an optional activity. From Minneriya to Sigiriya for the overnight stay.

After breakfast, we climb the Sigiriya rock fortress, then to Hiriwadunna for a village life experience (we include this fabulous experience in every tour for FREE.) You can take part in village activities, including cooking traditional food menus with the locals and taste the local cuisine. After the village life experience, you can choose to witness the Avukana Buddha statue, Habarana, and Ritigala (cycle track & leisure walk as an optional activity,) and back to Sigiriya for the overnight stay.

Day 15 - Dambulla - Nalanda Gedige - Matale (Spice Garden) - Aluvihare - Kandy

After breakfast, we drive you to Dambulla, where you will witness the Cave Temple. From Dambulla to Matale to see the Nalanda Gedige, Aluvihare, and spice gardens. After the Matale city tour, to Kandy for the Then Kandy city tour, including visiting the Temple of the Tooth and cultural center for Kandyan Dancing, and overnight stay.

Day 16 - Kandy - Pinnawala - Udawattakele - Kandy City

After breakfast, we drive you to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Or, you can request a day-tour at Knuckles as an optional activity. After Pinnawala or Knuckles tour, to Udawattakele sanctuary, which is a Royal Forest Park with high biodiversity.

Day 17 - Kandy - Peradeniya - Ramboda - Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, we take you to the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. From Peradeniya to Ramboda, then to Nuwara Eliya. Or, you can enjoy a scenic train ride from Kandy to Nanuoya without heading to Nuwara Eliya (optional.) Overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya or Nanuoya.

Day 18 - Nuwara Eliya - Horton Plains - Ella

After breakfast, Nuwara Eliya city tour, enjoying the beauty of the city. Then we drive you to Horton Plains as an optional activity. From Horton Plains to Ella for the overnight stay. Another option is choosing a train ride from Nanuoya to Ella without Nuwara Eliya and Horton Plains.

Day 20 - Ella - Badulla - Mahiyanganaya

After breakfast, we drive you to Badulla. St. Mark’s Church, Muthiyangana Viharaya, etc. From Badulla, we take you to Mahiyanganaya for the overnight stay.

Day 21 - Mahiyanganaya - Arugambay

After breakfast, Mahiyangana city tour. Mahiyangana Raja Maha Vihara, Mapakada Wewa, Horabora Wewa, meet Veddas, Dambana, etc. Then we travel to Arugam Bay for the overnight stay.

Day 24 - Yala - Udawalawa National Park

After breakfast, we take to the Udawalawe National Park for optional wildlife safaris and camping. And overnight stay at a hotel in Udawalawe.

Day 25 - Udawalawa - Sinharaja

After breakfast, we drive you to Sinharaja, which is a few-hour journey. Spend a leisure evening and overnight stay at a hotel in Sinharaja.

After breakfast, the Sinharaja forest expedition begins. Sinharaja is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with high biodiversity. Endless things to witness over there, including birdwatching. Overnight stay in a hotel in Sinharaja.

Day 27 - Sinharaja - Mirissa

After breakfast, we transfer you to Mirissa, which is a world-famous whale watching destination. Do you love witnessing whales, then request it as an optional activity from us! Parrot Rock Bridge surfing, Secret Beach Mirissa, Coconut Tree Hill, etc are the other places to visit. Overnight stay in Mirissa hotel.

After breakfast, we drive you to Galle, Hikkaduwa, and Balapitiya for Madu River Boat Safari. Galle Fort, Hikkaduwa Beach, and Madu River are the top travel attractions. Turtle Hatchery in Hikkaduwa is a must-visit place, and we can arrange it for you as an optional activity. Then we drive you to Colombo for the overnight stay.

Day 30 - Colombo - Airport

After breakfast, Colombo city tour commences. Shopping, museum, floating market, Galle Face Green, colonial buildings, etc. After the Colombo city tour, we drive you to the airport for the departure flight.
